 Star Wars The star wars trilogy is the best sold movie series in history. It is directed by George Lucas who, when showing the first cut to Brian de Palma, was laughed upon. Seems to me Lucas had the last laugh. He is now one of the best payed people one this planet. Star wars is about a galaxy far away a long time ago. The galaxy is ruled by the emperor Palpatine who, helped by Darth Vader, terrorises the people to stay in control. A select group of rebels fights them to free the people for ever. I could tell you lots more information, but that would be a rehearsal of other sites.
